War Looms On The HorizonThe dark clouds of conflict began building following the announcement of the upcoming alliance war, dubbed The Clone War. This conflict is actually a quite amicable one which is intended to inspire more activity and excitement in the Metaverse. There will not be just one winner in the competition, as t...

Recruiting WarsDiscussions erupted over the weekend regarding the recent decision to limit recruiting threads and unsolicited recruiting messages in the Metaverse. This topic has been debated in the past but never to this extreme. A decision to form a formal method of recruiting resulted in a mandate which instructed empires as to how and where recruitment should occur. Unfortunately, something got lost in the translation. Many felt the new mandate went too far in limiting the recruiting efforts...

It has been learned that Theoden obtained colony materials from the Fellowship in order to spread the ideals of the One Ring to all the galaxy. In an incredible series of events and frantic battles, the overlords of Special Forces claimed first place, stripping the Fellowship of the Ring of the top spot in the Metaverse. As the protectors of the One Ring watched, the banner of Special Forces, which now resembles a nuclear detonation overlaid with the letters SF and a sword, was raised at the top of the Empires board. Attempts by Fellowship warriors to retake the ground has thus far met with failure, however they swear to continue the ba...

Warfare between any two entities is devastating, but when two tremendous powers engage in hostilities the terror is incredible. The top empires in the Metaverse met on the battlefield over the last several days, exchanging massive attacks. The Fellowship of the Ring fell to second for the first time in ages, not once but twice! The aggressor, Special Forces, launched a major offensive dealing the Fellowship substantial losses before a counterattack regained the lost ground. Though this battle is...

Peace talks between the Jedi Republic and European Alliance seem to be producing results as a peace measure is currently being debated in the Euro Senate. The olive branch was offered to the Euros by Jedi Councilman Arcilte stating "The Council throws its full weight behind a Peace Treaty. The Darkside clouded our vision and influenced our actions for war. I hope that we can look to the future... a future of peace and prosperity for both our empires." With this eloquently versed message, hundred...

Those disgruntled MOO players learned of a fantastic game from a little company named Stardock. For many of us, the release of Galactic Civilizations has been this yea...

A wish of world peace can often be heard during this time of year. It is very seldom found, however. Most combatants engaged in battle will admit that holidays are great excuses for attack. But attempts are being made all over the Metaverse to bring about a temporary peace through the holiday season. Good will toward men and season's greetings seem to be the feelings of the moment!War preparations between Special Forces and the Fellowship of the Ring are being debated as peacemaker Ginata el boh...

It is a time of unprecedented chaos in the Metaverse. Conflict has erupted everywhere and the thirst for victory has engulfed almost everyone. The Jedi Republic, in what can only be considered the most hawkish behavior ever, declared war on the European Alliance. This move was considered by many to be unprovoked, but it has been learned the Jedi were merely executing a pre-emptive strike guarding against any future hostilities from the Euros. After an initial victory by the Euros, which moved pa...

The European Alliance once again proved that it is a dangerous force in the Metaverse. The huge empire, now consisting of 127 overlords, launched an offensive against the Mid-Western Confederation and slipped past the farmers for third place overall. While the factions in the United States were celebrating Thanksgiving, many overlords decided now would be a good time to strike. Upon returning to the Metaverse after large meals of turkey and dressing, the Mid-Westerners were shocked to see their ...
