Today, several members of the Fellowship of the Ring empire decided to have a little fun and drop the pirates of G.R.O.S.S. to fourth place in the Metaverse. With a little empire swapping, the pirates indeed dropped to fourth, but for a few moments, the MWC took on first place again! After the above snapshot was taken, the members of the Fellowship returned and everything returned to normal (or as close to normal as the Metaverse gets). Several witnesses to the joke were shocked at the changes until they were informed of the purpose.

On a related note, this shows just how important each overlord is to empires. Without the services of arobertson, vincible, and Theoden of Rohan, the Fellowship of the Ring dropped to second place. So it is with all the empires in the Metaverse. If anyone feels they don't contribute anything to their empire, just think back to this practical joke and you'll see every point is critical!
