In another dramatic turn of events involving the first place player in the Metaverse, including another name change, the empire standings flip-flopped again today. The player formerly known as Cotal/Amidala/Forsooth! Cupids rarely miss is now known as Ginata el bohemio. She disbanded Serendipity Empire and joined the ranks of Special Forces. Her arrival, along with Monkson, has vaulted the Special Forces into second place, narrowly passing Jedi Republic which fell to third. Special Forces empire is definitely special as they have managed to take second place with only 12 overlords! These are some heavy hitting players! Congratulations to Emperor Wild Wombat and his band of commandos for their accomplishments!

Only 20,000 points separate the Jedi and the Special Forces, so this could be an interesting contest to watch! These two empires have many dedicated players and there would be no surprise in seeing the Jedi retake second place.

In other news, several empires' Senates have been busy adjusting their Constitutions. The Jedi Republic and Evil Empire are demonstrating democracy at work as they vote on bills and have the laws signed into effect by their emperors. The Jedi Republic has also been very busy electing new Senators. Political intrigue is yet another benefit to empiring in the Metaverse!
